Austin Townhome Redesign

This South Austin townhome was built in 2013 and used as an investment property until a new buyer purchased it in 2022. There had been no thought to design since the builders created the home. The new buyer redesign began with creating a clean white canvas with a dark brown trim enhancing the high ceilings and framing the space. The decor combined elements of Cali Cool, nods to NYC and a strong appreciation for the effortlessly laid back vibes of its surrounding area in South Austin. Custom pieces were built to make the home more functional, such as in the entryway which lacked a coat closet. A windowless flex room by the garage was brightened up to be used as a third bedroom for family overflow during the holidays.
